This week, HLG attorneys visited Cumberland School of Law and spoke to the Business of Law class. HLG was invited to come and speak on the challenges facing new lawyers and strategies for starting a law practice. Topics ranged from business development, finances, software utilization, to client retention and more.

"Given the current economic climate, a class that focuses on the business aspects of a law practice is a valuable addition to the standard law school curriculum," says Chris Hamer in regards to the class. "Bringing in practicing attorney with real world experience offers a unique perspective for soon to be lawyers they might not otherwise receive in law school."
