Chris Hamer elected to Birmingham School of Law Foundation Board of Directors

Birmingham, Ala. – Hamer Law Group attorney Chris Hamer has been elected as a member of the of Birmingham School of Law Foundation’s Board of Directors. As a member of the Board, Chris will help further the BSL Foundation’s mission of increasing the accessibility to legal education for students attending Birmingham School of Law (BSL).

The Birmingham School of Law Foundation (BSL Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation created in 2009. The BSL Foundation supports accessibility to legal education through the establishment and perpetuation of scholarships for BSL students. Each year, through the dedication and support of generous BSL alumni, the BSL Foundation awards scholarships based on academic performance and financial need to students seeking to obtain a juris doctorate from BSL.

“As a Birmingham School of Law alum, I have a tremendous appreciation for the unique and important role the school serves in providing a quality legal education for working students with families and other commitments.” Hamer said. “It is a privilege to be able to give back to the legal community and the law school that gave me the opportunity to practice law”.
